Think Fresh!
Air pollution may seem too big a problem for one person to make much of a difference, but it's our individual everyday behaviors that most affect our air quality and climate. Exhaust from our cars and trucks, chimney smoke, and smoke from outdoor fires contribute the majority of the air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions in our region. If we all made just one air-friendly behavior change, collectively we could make a big difference.
Think about it. If everyone burned one less gallon of fuel a week, heated their homes more efficiently or switched to cleaner energy, together we could dramatically reduce emissions of toxic air pollutants and greenhouse gases.
Think about the ways you can make a difference for clean, healthy air.
