Government Fleets – Walking the Talk
Diesel Solutions partners include cities and counties throughout the Puget Sound region, who are demonstrating their commitment to improving regional air quality by leading the way for cleaner diesel fuels and technology. These partners are switching their municipal fleets to cleaner fuels, and/or retrofitting older equipment to reduce pollution.
Recently, the cities of Bremerton, Everett, Seattle and Tacoma along with King, Kitsap, Pierce and Snohomish counties, for example, have all taken steps to use more ultra-low sulfur fuel or biodiesel blends, and/or install retrofit devices on their diesel fleets.
These projects include vehicles used for public works, solid waste, utilities and other functions serving our area residents.
