Though Washington State already derives nearly 70 percent of its power from clean, locally-generated hydropower, the shrinking of our mountain snow pack will affect this source of energy, making it necessary to explore alternatives. By investing now in other renewable sources of energy, such as wind, solar and geothermal, we can help ensure our region continues its tradition of leadership in developing and promoting clean, green power.

A number of utilities in the Puget Sound region offer residential and business customers the option to invest a bit more to bolster the growth of renewable energy. Take advantage of these opportunities to support a clean energy – and air – future for our region.
