Tune in November 13th and 19th--The Weather Channel to feature "Air Aware" program

Nov. 4, 2005 – Fumes from factories, power plants and wildfires. Exhaust from cars, trucks, buses and ships. Dirty air can be a problem in many U.S. cities…and even in places we don’t expect.

Breathing unhealthy air can lead to lung problems, heart attacks, and even death. What can we do to protect our health?

The Weather Channel’s program “Forecast Earth,” will air an EPA-sponsored segment several times in November. The segment, “Air Aware,” will highlight how air quality can affect people and their health, and outline how to take action, focusing on state and local programs.

Schedule:

Sunday, November 13th at 5:00 pm
