The Puget Sound Clean Air Agency is committed to providing full access to public records in accordance with the Washington State Public Records Act, chapter 42.56 RCW, and Agency Regulation I, Article 14 (PDF 0.1MB).

You are encouraged to view information/public records available on the Agency web site before submitting a Request for Public Record. Try using the Search function located in the upper right hand corner of this web page.

You also may make a Request for Public Record. Each request should include the following information: 1. Requestor's name, mailing address, e-mail address and daytime phone number; 2. Date and time of the request; and 3. Nature of the request, specifically identifying the public records being requested.

You will receive a response to your Request for Public Record within five business days. The agency processes received requests in the order that allows all requests to be processed in the most efficient manner. A request is considered received on the date that the agency receives it, not when the request was sent.

There is no fee for reviewing agency records at the agency's offices. For copies of agency records, there is a $0.15 per-page fee for standard black and white photocopies that are produced by the Agency after the first 50 copies (the first 50 copies made by the Agency are free). Additional fees may be charged for postage and non standard copies; these include electronic copies, color copies, and copies of over-sized documents and photographs. Payment for copies is required in advance or at the time the requestor receives the copies. Payment can be made in cash, by check, money order or credit card.
