Records Request

We are committed to providing full access to all public records in accordance with the Washington State Public Records Act and agency regulations.

 Requesting a Public Record

We encourage you to view information available on this website before submitting a records request. Using the search function is a helpful way to find specific information.

You will receive a response to your records request within five business days. The date we receive the request is considered "day one", not the date the request was sent.

The following information is required to make a formal public records request:

  • Requestor’s name
  • Mailing address (if you would like the records mailed)
  • Email address
  • Daytime phone number
  • Date and time of request (for mail-in requests only)
  • Nature of the request, specifically identifying the public records being requested

To make a records request online, please click the button below and fill out the request form:

There are no fees for reviewing agency records at our offices. For copies of agency records, the first 50 pages are free and each page thereafter is 15 cents per page (black and white copies).

Additional fees may apply for postage and nonstandard copies such as color copies, oversized documents, and photographs. Payment is required in advance and can be made by cash, check, or credit card.
