Puget Sound Regional Air Quality Map
Air Monitoring Network
To track and forecast air quality, we operate monitoring stations across the Puget Sound region. These stations provide us with data about air pollution levels, weather conditions, and wind information. The map below shows all of the locations, as well as current air quality conditions. The colored dots indicate the real-time AQI at that station. To see a legend of the colors, check the "Show AQI legend" box to the right.
For details about a particular station, simply hover your mouse over the station you're interested in and a pop-up balloon will appear with information for that station. Included is the air pollutant (ozone or particulate matter) with the highest level at that moment. Also shown is the technology being used to measure pollution levels, and whether the monitoring station is maintained by the Clean Air Agency or the Department of Ecology.
