Recovery Act Petroleum Reduction Projects - $15 Million

In 2009, Western Washington Clean Cities received $15 Million in competitive grant funding for a variety of alternative fuel vehicle and infrastructure projects. Projects funded through this grant include:

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport Ground

Ground Support Electrification

Evergreen Fleets

Grant funding helped local fleets acquire alternative fuel and hybrid-electric vehicles, as well as build alternative fueling stations and electric charging hubs.

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Installation Project

Funds 125 additional charging stations in Puget Sound.

CNG Taxi Incentive Program

Focuses on taxis servicing Sea-Tac International Airport (Sea-Tac).
